“The battle of perception has turned the people against you, but let me just stress again, while we may not be able to correct the past and the present, there is hope for the future and that lies in you,” Iligan told the trainees after the rites.

“You are presented with a big opportunity to turn around the sentiments of the public as we confront this biggest crisis in our lifetime – the war against COVID-19 where guns are not a necessity.  Let the people know you are there to help and protect them from this invisible enemy by mere enforcement of proper health protocols and leading the fight by getting yourselves vaccinated,” Iligan reminded the trainees as there is global war against COVID-19. *(LTP/EAD-PIA6 Negros Occidental)
