Team NCRPO's Serbisyong Tama sa Barangay welcomes donation from Grab Taxi Philippines

CALOOCAN CITY, April 10 (PIA) -- The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) under the leadership of the Regional Director, PMGen Vicente D Danao Jr, acknowledged the support and donation that Team NCRPO received from My Taxi Grab Philippines, Inc., represented by Ms. Vivian Delima Casaclang, General Manager, Happy Oranges Souvenir Shop on Friday, April 9, in front of the Regional Headquarters of Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

Grab, considered as Asia’s leading ride-hailing platform solves critical transportation challenges and make transport freedom a reality for all of us.

However, Danao said, they go beyond their mandated task and extended their help to the Team NCRPO by donating a total of 150 food packs consisting of six pieces chicken noodles, three pieces pancit canton, 2 cans of sardines, one can meat loaf, and one can corned beef.

In addition, Grab also provided another 150 health kits cosisting of one piece tooth brush, three sachet of shampoo, one 250ml bottle of alcohol, one 35g tube of toothpaste, one bar bath soap, and one box of five pieces of face masks.

PLtCol Jenny Tecson, Chief, PIO/PIS and PMaj Diane Del Rosario, Assistant Chief, RCADD, received the donated goods, in support of NCRPO’s Serbisyong TAMA Caravan sa Barangay in line with the efforts of the National Capital Region Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict.

In addition to this, upon learning of the aim of Project SIBOL (Simula ng Isang Bagong Oportunidad sa Lipunan), an adopt a sitio/community project, another project initiated by RD Danao under ENTENG Barangay , Ms. Vivian Delima Casaclang vowed to donate another 315 sets of slippers for the families living in the chosen sitio and will lobby to the management of Grab the possible tie up with NCRPO for the additional construction of three water wells essential in their everyday life.

Furthermore, she also pledged to do her best to help in whatever capacity to improve the housing set-up of the sitio in order for them to live in a cleaner, safer, more decent homes.

“These donations will definitely benefit our kababayans who are greatly affected by the pandemic. Makakaasa kayo na makakarating ang mga donasyong ito sa ating mga kababayan na higit na nangangailangan ng tulong sa maayos, ligtas at organisadong pamamaraan.
