Pag-IBIG Fund in NCR Plus, other MECQ area to operate in skeleton workforce 

PASIG CITY, April 13 (PIA) --  The Home Development Mutual Fund or Pag-IBIG Fund is advising its customers that its branches in areas placed under MECQ are currently operating with a skeletal workforce. 

"In view of the implementation of a Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in NCR Plus (Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal), and the City of Santiago, Isabela, from April 12 to 30, 2021, Pag-IBIG Fund branches in these areas shall be operating with a skeleton workforce," it said in an advisory.

Also on its official Facebook Page, Pag-IBIG said during this period, only the following services shall be available in branches in these areas, from 9 a.m.to 3 p.m., Mondays to Fridays:

  • Releasing of checks
  • Payments
  • Loyalty Card Plus Availment

Likewise, drop boxes outside these branches shall remain available for members for other transactions.

The Civil Service Commission defined skeletal workforce as a work arrangement where a minimum number of employees is required to man the office to render service when full staffing is not possible.

During ECQ skeleton workforce may be allowed unless a different operational capacity is provided in agencies providing health and emergency frontline services, border control, and other critical services as identified in the IATF Omnibus Guidelines on Community Quarantine.

Employees designated as skeletal workforce shall be entitled to Hazard Pay on top of the Compensatory Time Off or Overtime Pay granted for authorized services rendered outside of the employee’s regular work hours, (PIA NCR)
