Kalinga PNP arrest 4 wanted persons

CITY OF TABUK, Kalinga, April 12(PIA) - - Law enforcers nabbed four criminal suspects last week  sending a stern warning to other wanted persons that the long arm of the law is pursuing them, 
Arrested on April 5 in separate places were a 31-year old resident of Agbannawag, Tabuk City for the crime of estafa; a 42-year old resident of Bagbag, Rizal for violation of the anti-drug law. Nabbed on on April 6 werer  a 24-year old for violation of Special Protection of Children against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination and a 47-year old resident of Babbanoy, Tanudan for the crime of murder.
The first suspect was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Paul R. Attolba Jr., Regional Trial Court  Branch 30, Bambang, Nueva Viscaya for Estafa issued on July 28, 2015 with bail recommended amounting to Php40,000.00. The arrested person was brought to Tabuk City Police Station  for proper disposition.
The drug personality was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated April 5, 2021 issued by  Judge Jerson E Angog of  RTC Branch 25, Tabuk City for violation of RA 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 with bail fixed at Php200,000.00.

The child abuse suspect  was apprehended with recommended bail amounting to Php120,000.00 while the suspect for   murder was served a warrant of arrest issued by RTC, Branch 25 Executive Judge Marcelino K. Wacas in  February 29, 2006 with no bail recommended.

 Kalinga PNP Provincial Director PCOL. Davy Vicente Limmong said  the  recent arrest  of wanted persons once again manifests the determination of the Police through their relentless campaign to bring suspected violators of the law to court to answer for their alleged crimes. He is encouraging the communities to support the Police by providing information about those involved in criminal activities for their apprehension. (PAB-PIA CAR, Kalinga)
