Vizcaya coffee producers get facility from DTI

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, March 6(PIA) - At least six coffee producing organizations recently received Share Service Facility (SSF) from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The recipients were the Tiblac-Langak Farmers Association Incorporated (TLFAI) of Ambaguio, Sartin Café (SC) of Bambang, Bumolo's Integrated Farm (BBIF) and Kasibu Coffee Growers Association (KCGA) of Kasibu, Bugkalot Coffee Growers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BCGMPC) of Dupax del Sur, and Myfavcofe Coffee Processing (MCP) of Kayapa.

DTI Provincial Director Henry Conel Jr. said the six recipients of the DTI SSF Starter Kits are among the province's enterprising coffee producers and blenders.

The six coffee Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) attended the DTI's recent webinar on Coffee Flavor Development and Coffee 101: Coffee Production, Farm Management, and Post-Harvest Handling.

"This is part of their continuous learning journey to improve their coffee production and processing. Their success is also our success," Conel said.

He further said that the assistance given to the province's coffee champions and their cooperation will help them 'roast, grind, and brew their cups of success'. (MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
