RT-PCR negative result non-mandatory in entering City of Ilagan

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, March 10 (PIA) - The local chief executive of this city is not requiring negative Reverse Transcription - Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test for travelers entering the city.

Mayor Josemarie L. Diaz signed Executive Order No. 12, Series of 2021 ordering the non-mandatory requirement of negative result of RT PCR when an individual wants to enter the city.

“The IATF resolution 101 provides a uniform general protocol for all LGUs relative to travel, reducing the requirements and further relaxing the rules for traveling individual,” Diaz said in his order.

He said that that in his previous Executive Order No. 11, Series of 2021, an individual who wants to enter the city is required to present to the designated checkpoints a RT PCR negative result before they can enter the city. (BME/MGE/PIA 2-Isabela)
