NV tech voc grads get tool kits from TESDA

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, March 22 (PIA) - The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recently gave tool kits for the 2019 graduates of its Special Training for Employment Program (STEP).

Vice Governor Jose Tomas, Sr. said 500 Starter Tool Kits were given to the STEP graduates who completed Electrical Installation and Maintenance with National Certification II and Animal Production Swine with National Certification II.

He said the STEP graduates completed their technical vocational courses through the Tam-an Agri-Tech Tourism and Training Center (TATTTC) in barangay Busilac in this town.

"Use your Tool Kits to earn income through your hard earned courses. With this tools, you will help your family and yourself to widen your horizons," Tomas said.

He also thanked Rep. Luisa Cuaresma and Senator Sonny Angara for the continuing allocation of scholarship slots to help poor students earn technical and vocational courses and address the growing unemployment problem in the province due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The distribution of the Starter Tool Kits was led by Rep. Cuaresma, Vice Governor Tomas Sr. , Board Member Edgardo Balgos, and TESDA Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Director Romeo Talosig. (MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
