Isabela exec lauds LGUs, private orgs for showing ‘Bayanihan’ for Isabeleños after Ulysses

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, March 24 (PIA) - Gov. Rodolfo Albano III thanked  Local Government Units (LGUs), National Government Agencies (NGAs), private organizations/groups and individuals for showing their concern through “Bayanihan” after the wrath of Typhoon Ulysses in Isabela.

He said he was elated that “Bayanihan” is still alive among fellow Filipinos especially in times of calamities and crises as he did not expect that various sectors poured their help to Isabela after typhoon Ulysses brought flood to most of the province's municipalities.

“Bayanihan” is really present among Filipinos, when our province was flooded brought by typhoon Ulysses last year, many LGUs and organizations sent their donations for our affected Isabeleños,” Albano said.

He called on all his conctituents to help each other especially in times of crisis as he praised Isabeleños for being resilient in the face of whatever calamities that may come in the province even in this of pandemic.

He said the provincial government has been sending aid to LGUs which are affected by calamities, the latest of which is the Taal volcano eruption in January 2020 where thousands sacks of rice were sent to the province of Batangas and other provinces which were affected by typhoons and other calamities.(BME/MGE - PIA-2/Isabela)
