95 COVID-19 vaccination sites identified in Isabela

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, March 8 (PIA) - The Isabela Provincial Health Office (IPHO) has already identified at least 95 vaccination sites stationed in the local government units (LGUs).

IPHO National Health Immunization Program Coordinator Chamille Claravall said that they had targeted at least 403, 813 IsabeleƱos or 25.82% of the total population of the province for Phase 1 vaccination.

Claravall said the vaccination sites are mostly public hospitals and rural health units that will cater the priority groups to be vaccinated.

She said the priority groups to be vaccinated for the Phase 1 will be frontline health workers from public and private health facilities and hospitals, public health workers, barangay health workers, indigent senior citizens, indigent population and uniformed personnel. 

Claravall said that each vaccination site has a vaccination team to ensure the smooth flow of the vaccination Phase 1 implementation where a pre-screening and physical exam, registration area, counseling and final consent, vaccination and monitoring areas have been established.

She added that under the vaccination plan of the provincial government, the health workers required to go to the designated vaccination sites in their respective LGUs on the  scheduled vaccination day to receive the vaccine shot.

Claravall urged the pre-registered IsabeleƱos to be inoculated with Covid-19 vaccine once it is already available. (BME/MGE/PIA 2-Isabela)
