Three DavSur village councils receive multicab vehicles 

DAVAO CITY, Feb. 16 (PIA) – Some three barangays in Davao del Sur were recent recipients of multicab vehicles given by the provincial local government.

Governor Douglas Cagas spearheaded the turn-over ceremony on Monday (Feb. 15) for the three white multicab units to the barangay councils of Barangays Upper Malinao and Quirino District in the municipality of Padada and Barangay New Murcia in Matanao.

Quirino District Barangay Captain Rolly Guyot expressed his gratitude towards the PLGU for the assistance, saying that this will help their barangay especially for the works of the functionaries.

“Kalipay ang gibati namo karon uban sa atong mga barangay kagawad sa Brgy. Quirino District nga nakadawat kami niining usa ka multicab nga dako jung ikatabang sa amoang barangay… among gipaabot among pasalamat didto sa halandong governor (We’re really happy that we received this multicab that would really help our barangay… we’re really grateful to our governor),” Guyot stated.

Brgy. New Murcia Captain Francisco Agbon also extended his gratitude to the PLGU, and hoped that more barangays in the province will also benefit from the different assistance of the provincial government. 

“Akong ipanghinaot nga daghan pa nga maka avail sa nagkalain-laing mga kaayuhan dili lang sa amoang barangay kung dili sa kinatibuk-an sa Davao del Sur (I hope that more barangays in the province will be able to avail of different assistance),” Agbon said.

Vice Gov. Marc Cagas and Second District Board Member Atty. Carmelo Delos Cientos III were also present during the turn-over ceremony yesterday (February 15). (PIA-XI/Samantha Jabol)
