NCRPO chief lauds Marikina mayor for maintaining peace, order in the city

PASIG CITY, Feb. 20 (PIA) -- National Capital Region Police Office Chief Police Major General Vicente Danao has lauded and expressed his gratitude to Marikina City Mayor Marcy Teodoro for effectively maintaining peace and order in the city and keeping their citizens safe.

During his recent visit in the country’s "Shoe Capital," Danao thanked Mayor Marcy for the city's continued support to the plans and programs of Team NCRPO, particularly on the effectiveness and efficiency in enforcing the law to maintain the peace and order in the city.

The NCRPO chief also laid out his programs and intensified campaign of the PNP leadership in relation to the "No Take Policy" on all forms of illegal activities.

Likewise, Mayor Teodoro also assured their full support to Team NCRPO specifically those of mutual benefit for peace and order, as well as the development of the city.

Danao was joined by PBGen Benjamin Acorda, Deputy Regional Director for Operation; PBGen Matthew Baccay, Eastern Police District Director and PCol Restituto Arcangel, Marikina City Chief of Police in the courtesy call to Teodro. 

On the same day, Danao proceeded to the Marikina City Police Station. This is to certify that policemen were all accounted for, to ensure that they are fulfilling their duties and responsibilities as well as to check on the cleanliness of every office or unit. (PIA NCR)
