In a dialogue on Monday (Jan. 4), TESDA-XI Regional Director Lorenzo Macapili said that they will assist the employees under the technical educational and skills development provision where they can enroll in different training courses.

This system is a combination of online, distance learning and face-to-face or the blended learning.

Macapili said that the beneficiaries will receive a training support fund of P160 per day, internet allowance of P500 for the online trainings, and personal protective equipment (PPE) for the face-to-face trainings.

He added that that they are still aiming to work in a radio station if there are private or government agencies that are willing to support them.

“…in our part, maningkamot mi na makapanghatag og proposals sa mga any – either private or government agencies na willing to support us for our goal… (in our part we will try and send proposals to any private or government agencies that are willing to support us in our goal),” he said in an interview.

Goheitia has led other 31 displaced employees in reaching out to different government agencies for assistance including TESDA-XI, after they were terminated by the company last December 2020.
