DTI biz counselors offer services for MSMEs in BOSS

SAN JOSE, Antique, Jan. 11 (PIA)  - - The Department of aTrade and Industey (DTI) Negosyo Centers Business Counselors in every municipality in the Antique are present in the Business One-Stop Shops (BOSS) to assist micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Supervising Trade and Industry Development Specialist Engr. Lynna Joy Cardinal of DTI Antique said that the BOSS, as a support mechanism to the Business Permits and Licensing System (BPLS),  is being set up the local government units (LGUs) in January of every year. 

In the BOSS, all regulating offices and agencies are gathered in one venue for fast and efficient processing and approval of business registration documents. 

She also said that other LGUs have already BOSS that are operating all-year round.

For DTI business name registration, it is being facilitated in the Negosyo Centers by the business counselors in every municipality.

Cardinal emphasized that business owners must register their establishments because such registration is required in all other business transactions.

In 2020, Antique so far has registered a total of 2,451, of which 2,217 are new registration and 234 have applied for renewal of their businesses. (JBG/PSM/PIA-Antique)
