Cabagan, DTI switch one-stop-shop for bizmen

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, Jan. 11 (PIA) - The Local Government Unit of Cabagan in coordination with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Isabela has activated its Business One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) for speedy processing of business application and renewal.

The BOSS is part of the government’s initiative to streamline the processing of business permits and licenses in compliance to Republic Act 11032 otherwise known as Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.

Mayor Christopher Mamauag said every first month of the year, business owners need to renew their permits and licenses to operate a business while applicants of new businesses also need to accomplish the needed requirements before they can start their own business.

He said the agencies or personnel that converged in the one-stop-shop at the municipal hall are the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHILHEALTH) and personnel from LGU Cabagan.

“We want that the business owners will fastrack their business permits and licenses renewal in compliance to R.A 11032,” Mamauag said.

The BOSS is situated at the municipal hall grounds and in compliance with the minimum health and safety protocols against Covid-19. (MDCT/BME/MGE/PIA 2-Isabela)
