PCSO gives food packs to Vizcaya IPs, ambulance to R2TMC

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, December 17 (PIA) The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office(PCSO) recently gave food packs to poor indigenous people in this town including a brand new ambulance for the Region 2 Trauma and Medical Center(R2TMC).

Byron Bumanglag, PCSO manager in Nueva Vizcaya, said the food packs distribution to 270 poor villagers aims to provide relief assistance to the IPs who were also victims of the previous typhoon in the province.

He added that the donated ambulance will also boost the emergency response capability of the R2TMC especially in times of calamities and disasters.

"This is our way of helping our poor sectors especially in Nueva Vizcaya. Rest assured of more assistance to come through our programs and services," he said.

Bumanglag also said the PCSO will provide financial assistance to at least 469 typhoon victims in the province this week through their " PAGLINGAP SA PANAHON NG PANDEMYA" Program.

These relief giving activities, he further said are part of the 86th Anniversary Celebration of the PCSO. (ALM/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya
