Medtecs International donates 100,000 face masks to Army frontliners

       ASCOM Commander Major General Glenn Cruz receives the donation of face masks from Medtecs  represented by Ms. Via Cataquis.

PASIG CITY, Dec. 14 (PIA) -- The Philippine Army, through the Army Support Command (ASCOM), recently received donations of 100,000 pieces of face masks from the Medtecs International Corporation Limited for use of Army frontliners.

ASCOM Commander Major General Glenn Cruz received the donation of face masks from Medtecs which was represented by Ms. Via Cataquis.

“Such acts of generosity in using their resources and expertise as part of their social responsibility particularly during this time of pandemic shows their commitment as our partner in our cause in preserving the force and providing the much-needed protection to our troops and their family,” said Cruz.

According to the Philippine Army, the 100,000 pieces of face masks will be distributed to uniformed personnel deployed in the frontlines.

Wearing a facemask has been recommended by health experts to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
