First batch of NCRPO personnel complete skills training on urban gardening

PASIG CITY, Dec. 7 (PIA) -- Ten police personnel from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) successfully completed their skills training on Basic Urban Gardening Towards Agri-Crops Production.

The first batch of police personnel who trained under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Training Center in NCR completed the skills training in coordination with the NCR Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) and through the standing partnership between TESDA and the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The said event was led by Mr. Rizal S. Bautista, Acting Administrator, RTC-NCR and attended by Police Captain Jobie A. Senario, Chief, Community Affairs Section, RCADD, NCRPO, and Ms. Vignette D. Navasero, Regional Focal for PRLEC and Inter Agency Coordinator.

According to TESDA-NCR, the 10 police officers that completed their training are set to become Barangay Community Trainers for the PRLEC Cluster.

In addition, another batch of trainees from NCRPO will begin their training on basic urban gardening on Dec. 11, 2020. (PIA-NCR)
